Hey guys
This is a big bang post for if you want to access METRO APPS ( basically they are windows 8 desktop or Touch apps) and are using college LAN connection which is or isn't secured by mcafee Internet security or some proxy .
what you may have observed is you cant access metro apps using LAN connection because windows metro apps don't prefer Internet access through LAN connection. there are some ways by which you can use them through LAN Connection but seriously guys trust me those methods are much difficult to follow and even costly You need to get an App which will cost you minimum 21 USD to max 800 USD
who the hell want to pay money for that

HOW TO SETUP WIFI HOTSPOT IN HOSTEL LAN !!

basically what we do is as we know metro apps don't support Internet connection through LAN what we do is create hotspot using using LAN connection on one laptop and use that WIFI connection on the other laptop metro apps do not have any problem with WIFI connection
as simple as that..

VIRTUAL DEVICE COULDN"T BE STARTED==>PROBLEM SOLVED

Hello guys
In this post you will  able to fix the problem virtual device could not be started
As we know we type some commands in cmd as an admin and then allow sharing
Everything works fine and you see hosted network started but we cant access Internet through this Connection also we cant connect to this hotspot
Some times it shows signal like this

Don't get panic its not a big problem at all
Just follow the instructions and you will fix the problem

1. Open device manager (go to control panel and search for it)
   
2. Then click on network adaptors
   
3. There you would see Qoulcomm Atheros something something right click it and disable it 
   
4. Then right click on it again and enable it
5. Now run the commands in the admin cmd 
6. Now again open device manager there you would see some think like{{ Microsoft hosted virtual network adaptor }} and it would be disabled by default
   
7. Enable it and again run the commands

but it will give you idea about what you need to do

Applying System-Wide Proxy in Ubuntu

Hey Guys this is a simple post about how to set up system wide proxy in Ubuntu!!!

when you first install Ubuntu you will need to set up the system proxy in order to acceess Internet through command line..For that " How to set-up system proxy " just follow these steps !!

1. first of all go to Dash-home and type "Network" a new window will be opened here now you can see the network proxy tab just click it and select [Manual] mode
2. enter your desired proxy here and hit apply system-wide..
3. you will be asked for User-account password provide it!!

Now Second part you need to provide authentication for your proxy [ only if your Internet is password protected ]

1. Open a new Terminal
2. Type the following command

           sudo su

      3. You will be asked for User-Account password provide it.

      4. Then type this command

            cd /etc/apt

---

      5. Then type this command

           gedit apt.conf

---

        6. Hit enter and a new file will be opened in Gedit:

       

---

       7. Now in this file replace proxy:port with the proxy and port given by your Internet provider

       e.g. for COEP its 10.1.101.150:3128

          and replace username:password by your own username and password that you generally use for accessing net and save the file

       8. and you are DONE!! now you can access Internet without specifying proxy everytime :D

After searching for a very long time I have come up with this new method and it works fine..

So here it goes...

What do you need ??
 

1. WORKING LAN CONNECTION 
2. A LAPTOP RUNNING WINDOWS
3. THINKING BRAIN :P

Lets get started..

1. First open cmd with administrator rights 
2. Then use this commands one by one

           netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=hsedaaias key=itsforfree  (hit enter)
           
           netsh wlan start hostednetwork    (hit enter)

   NOW SECOND PART:

1. First go to [NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER]..
2.  Hit [change adapter settings] there right click on your Ethernet ( the one that has been established 
3. There is a [sharing] tab in this window
4. Here now check [allow sharing]
   ]
5. There you can see a [new local network] that has recently created.
6. In sharing network select it ( new local network )
   
7. Hit okk and you are done !!

  Now every time you have to start the hot spot just hit this command as a

                             netsh wlan start hostednetwork

njoy!!!

WHAT IF YOU FORGOT THE MASTER PASSWORD OF FIREFOX

Hey guys Here I am posting some useful information about Firefox browser
if you use firefox frequently then u must be knowing about the master password feature in it. its used to store all the security  related features of the brower
and in case you forgot the password heres the solution for that annoying problem.

just type this command in the address bar

              chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul 

                click on "Reset"

and you are done!!

HOW TO ENABLE / ACTIVATE DOTNET (.NET) FRAMEWORK IN WINDOWS 8

Hey guys here I am posting  a solution to one of the tricky problems in windows 8

as of now you may have noticed that windows 8 does not come with DOTNET framework 3.5
even though they have included framework 4 still some of the very well known apps require framework 3.5 to work that includes ( zune , old games etc.)
some of the apps wont even allow the installation if you don't have .net 3.5

So, there are many methods to enable this feature in windows 8 but the most effective one that I found is here...


So before you get started here are the prerequisite :

1)  you must have windows 8 ISO image ( if u don't know what does ISO means then get lost :P, i mean google it)
2)  and you would need a thinking mind.

here the procedure

1) mount the iso image to a virtual drive ( u can use power ISO for that...if you dont know what it is just google power iso )

now suppose you have mounted the iso to drive G

2) now go to G drive open sources folder and open command prompt with admin rights


3) type this commands:

DISM / Online/ Enable - feature/ Featurename:NetFx3 /All / LimitAccess/ Source:G:\Sources\sxs

and hit enter

4 ) and you are done!!!!
